Meet Catherine “Cat” Alix, a 30-year-old Colombian heartthrob who has taken the cigar world by storm with her bedroom eyes, succulent curves and love affair with cigars. This lady of the leaf is not just a pretty face pinned to the wall of some testosterone-filled cigar shop. But, she is the devilish dame nestled in the corner of the lounge, sunken in an over-sized leather chair with her lips locked around a medium to full-bodied cigar smoking with the boys.
“Cigar smoking is therapeutic, soothing and very sexy,” said Alix. “There is nothing more appealing than a beautiful woman enjoying a cigar.”
By day, Cat works as a cigar representative but when the five O’clock whistle sounds and the sun tucks itself behind the shadows of the moon, this buxom beauty knows how to enjoy life to its fullest.
“I hang out at cigar lounges all over NJ and NY but 
I’m a member at Sanj’s Smoke Shop in Bloomfield,” she said.
There is no doubt that this gorgeous gal brings much needed sex appeal to an otherwise male-dominated industry that is starving for females.
“I absolutely feel that I, as any other woman, add sex appeal. It’s so classy,” said Alix.
Cat has been smoking cigars for about five years but it wasn’t until two years ago that she started smoking regularly.
“I’ve been smoking for five years but really started smoking weekly for two years. My affinity stemmed from the realization that in the cigar world, women are a needle in the haystack” said Alix.
Like many cigar enthusiasts, Cat doesn’t have a favorite cigar or specific drink to which she gravitates but she does enjoy medium to full-bodied cigars paired with whiskey, scotch, bourbon or a craft beer.
“I love my whiskey, scotch and bourbon with my cigars, maybe even a craft beer.”
Dubbed the ‘Ash Queen’ by those who know her,
Cat loves to keep the ash burning for as long as it cooperates before it eventually deposits itself in her lap.
“I love to ash my cigars because I appreciate the flavor so much more and it takes patience,” said Alix.
Cat is a growing aficionada who values the worldly treasures associated with cigars and the lifestyle.
“This is a lifestyle. It’s classy, sexy, sophisticated, elegant, selective and elite,” said Alix.
