Nomad S-307 – Torpedo

nomad jdAn extremely smooth and flavorful smoke that appeals to novice and experienced smokers alike.

The Nomad S-307 was the company’s second core line and also the second Nicaraguan blend behind the limited release LE Lot 1386 that was a near sellout upon its inception at the 2013 IPCPR.

I was introduced to the Nomad S-307 by her good friend Gary Griffith of House of Emelio several months back. I finally decided to take her out for a couple of late afternoon cocktails on this beautiful afternoon here in NJ.

When I picked her up from her humidor I was quickly reminded of how beautiful and arousing she is. Early on in our meeting she informed me about the history behind her unique name. She told me that the ‘S’ stands for Sumatra and the ‘307’ references the area of Esteli in square miles, the town in Nicaragua from which she was born. Her father Fred Rewey definitely ‘does things a bit differently’.

She was dressed in a stunning Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf that was dark chocolate brown in color and silky smooth with just a hint of oil layering her flesh. She had sexy veins and visible seams running through her firm, 6 ½ x 52 body that I found extremely intoxicating.  And, her seductive curves rounded the edges of her box-pressed figure to perfection. Her fashionable red and black band accessorized her nude leaf beautifully with NOMAD tattooed nomad with fadoroacross the front in white modern font.

Her well-constructed body sports an Ecuadorian Habano binder that conceals Nicaraguan fillers. The Ecuadorian wrapper/binder combination adds a bit of mystery and eroticism to her already irresistible qualities because it is as rare as finding a green-eyed red head roaming the streets of NJ. Her leaf emitted a lustful perfume of cedar and sugary sweet natural tobacco with a touch of earth and hay that lured me in like the bedroom eyes of a jezebel.

Our pre-light foreplay got her in the mood for some one-on-one smoke time in my backyard cigar cave.  Without hesitation I firmly clipped her torpedo tip that once formed a very clean point, and gently massaged her foot with warm butane to prime her for action.

From our initial meeting, I knew this Latina was going to be a real sweetheart and our opening kiss affirmed that. Her kiss was amazing. The primary flavors behind her passion were earth and sweetness, molasses perhaps, but it was her subtle spice that made our opening act so memorable. The blend was absolutely amazing. As the first third of our tryst continued, I started to taste hints of roasted nuts peeping in.

Her passion and flavors really started to ramp up as we continued on into the second third of our time together. This exotic beauty started to pour on the charm and bedazzle the pants off of me. She continued to offer a dominant flavor profile of sweet, rich earthiness that blended perfectly with the subtle spice that gave her kisses that ‘WOW’ factor that I will never forget. Hints of cedar and nuts peeped in here and there to round out the memorable blend.  What was extra special about this tender heartthrob was her nomad2long lasting, creamy finish that blanketed my palate with her flavors so I wouldn’t forget what she tasted like as we rested in between smooches. Her flavors are medium bodied with a strength hovering around medium as well. She definitely offers more flavor than strength.

Every time I inhaled her innocence she let out a scream of smoke that echoed throughout my cigar cave like you would not believe. She emitted plumes of thick, white amorous clouds that lustfully lingered about the room waiting to be admired. Her maintenance-free burn left a straight char line that produced a large, firm ash that was light gray with adorable dark black smoke rings layered throughout. The ash started to bend a bit as it grew to nearly two inches in length, but it did not mar her beauty one bit.

As you probably imagined by now, I did not want this rendezvous to end – EVER. Her flavors were extraordinary and extremely satisfying. Our final third together will never be forgotten. Each ‘goodnight’ kiss lingered and neither of us wanted to depart from one another. Her flavor profile continued to impress. Her spiciness started to increase a little bit while her earthy base remained dominant. There were absolutely no harsh or bitter bites coming from her final moments of burn. I continued giving her little pecks on her shoulder until I could no longer grip what was left of her once flawless body.

This exotic creation from Nomad is incredible and not a moment goes by that I don’t think about the time we shared together in my cigar cave. She is an extremely smooth smoke with a memorable flavor profile that is blended to perfection. S-307 tastes so good it is hard to describe in words. I cannot say enough about how good this cigar tastes. If there was a word that meantnomad3 better than perfect, this cigar would define it for sure.

The box press only adds to its glamour to create an unforgettable smoking experience. The construction is flawless and the burn is immaculate. The body remained medium and the strength was also medium, two reasons why I believe this cigar should become a staple in every cigar smoker’s humidor.

I paired the S-307 with Jack Daniels Single Barrel Select Tennessee whiskey. The two were made for each other. The sweet Tennessee whiskey complimented the sweet tobacco in the cigar and may have even enhanced it a bit.
