Nomad C-276 – Robusto

Nomad C-276A full-flavored, complex blend with five different filler tobaccos, including two ligeros, an appealing cigar for those who enjoy a little strength and a lot of flavor.

The Nomad C-276 was the company’s fourth core line and the third Nicaraguan blend behind the limited release LE Lot 1386 that was a near sellout upon its inception at the 2013 IPCPR and the highly acclaimed S-307.

“After the process was complete I was only left with one thought. ‘I have no idea how I will ever follow up this cigar,’” said brand owner, Fred Rewey.

I was introduced to the Nomad C-276 when her father, Fred Rewey, introduced us at the Delaware Cigar Festival last month. After weeks of rest in my humi, I finally decided to take her out for a couple of late afternoon cocktails on this beautiful afternoon here in NJ.

When I picked her up from the humidor I was bemused by her beauty and quickly reminded of just how sexy she is. Early on in our meeting she informed me about the history behind her unique name. She told me that the ‘C’ is for Concepcion, one of two volcanoes on Ometepe Island and the ‘276’ references the square kilometers of the island. Rewey definitely ‘does things a bit differently’, especially when it comes to naming his girls.

She was dressed in a stunning Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro leaf that was extremely dark and rich in color. She hadNomad C-276 silky smooth textured flesh and a erotic sheen of natural oil that that glistened like a jewel in an Ethiop’s ear. She had tiny veins and near-invisible seams running through her firm, 5 x 50 body that I found extremely arousing. And, her seductive curves rounded the edges of her box-pressed figure to perfection. Her fashionable black and red band accessorized her nude leaf beautifully with ‘NOMAD’ tattooed across the front in white modern font.

Her well-constructed body conceals a Nicaraguan binder that envelopes five different Nicaraguan fillers, including Ometepe. The eclectic filler blend adds a bit of mystique and eroticism to her already lusty appeal. Her leaf emitted an intoxicating perfume of sweet cocoa and barnyard with a rich earthy base that lured me in like the bedroom eyes of a jezebel.

Without hesitation I firmly clipped her tip and gently massaged her foot with warm butane to prime her for action. Our pre-light foreplay got her in the mood for some one-on-one smoke time in my backyard cigar cave and I was ready to take the next step.

From our initial meeting, I knew this Latina was going to be a real sweetheart and our opening kiss affirmed that. Her kiss was amazing. The primary flavors behind her passion were cedar and dark roasted coffee mixed with citrus fruit and cocoa, but it was her subtle spice at the back end that made our opening experience so memorable. The blend was absolutely amazing. She offered rich flavors that were upfront and pungent. I Nomad C-276would say her strength level at this point was a solid medium but boy was she full of flavor.

As if she wasn’t tasty enough, her passion and flavors really started to ramp up as we continued on into the second third of our tryst. As I continued to explore her deep, rich flavors, this exotic beauty started to pour on the charm and bedazzle the pants off of me. She continued to offer a dominant flavor profile of sweet, rich earthiness that coupled perfectly with the subtle spice that gave her kisses that ‘WOW’ factor early on. Hints of cedar and coffee remained along with the citrus I experienced earlier. Sadly, the cocoa flavor has disappeared from her breath. What was extra special about this tender heartthrob was her long lasting, sweet finish that blanketed my palate so I wouldn’t forget what she tasted like as we rested between smooches. I started to notice her strength slowly creeping up to a medium-full by the end of the second third.

Every time I inhaled her innocence she let out a scream of smoke that echoed throughout my cigar cave like you wouldn’t believe. She emitted plumes of thick, white amorous clouds that danced about the room. Her maintenance-free burn left a straight char line that produced a large, firm ash that was dense and dark charcoal in color. Her draw was perfect.

As you probably imagined by now, I did not want this rendezvous to end – EVER. Her flavors were extraordinary and extremely satisfying. Our final third together will never be forgotten. Each ‘goodnight’ kiss lingered and neither of us wanted to depart from the company of one another. Her flavor profile continued to impress. Her earthy base remained dominant and the sweet undertones continued to satisfy me. Her dark roast coffee notes and cedar also remained rich and sustaining. There were absolutely no harsh or bitter bites coming from her final moments of burn. I continued giving her little pecks on her shoulder until I could no longer grip what was left of her once flawless body.

This exotic creation from Nomad is incredible and not a moment goes by that I don’t think about the time we shared together in my cigar cave. She is an extremely smooth smoke with a memorable flavor profile that is blended to perfection. I cannot say enough about how good the C-276 tastes. The Ometepe tobaccos certainly enhance and the blend, and set it apart from its rivals.

The box press was a great addiction that added to her glamour. The construction was flawless and the burn was immaculate. She remained flavorful from the opening kiss to the final goodnight smooch. Her strength continued to increase throughout the experience until finally reaching full strength during the home stretch. I highly recommend this cigar to anyone who enjoys a tasty, flavorful smoke that isn’t spicy and doesn’t challenge your ability to handle a Nicotine overload.Nomad C-276

I paired the C-276 with dark roasted coffee. The two were made for each other. The dark roast coffee flavors in the cigar complimented the beverage perfectly.
