Blanco is adding a Lancero vitola to the original Señorial blend while also releasing a Maduro brand, Señorial Maduro Natural. Both cigars are manufactured at Jochi Blanco’s Tabacalera Palma factory.
The new Maduro is not simply the original Señorial blend cloaked in a Maduro wrapper leaf. When Jose Blanco makes a cigar he ensures that tobacco ratios and the type of tobaccos used are blended to perfection. The Maduro Natural is a flavorful cigar that features a rustic San Andres Maduro wrapper with a Piloto Cubano binder from the Dominican Republic and Dominican Criollo ’98 and Piloto Cubano fillers.
Jose Blanco loves the Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper and is excited to use it with this blend because it fits the full-flavor profile of the Señorial perfectly. The cigar will be released in four sizes: Lonsdale Refinado, at 6 1/2 inches by 44 ring gauge ($7.50); Robusto Digno 5 1/2 by 50 ($8.50); Toro Coloso, 6 by 54 ($9); and Opulento, 6 by 60 ($10).
The Lancero will showcase the original Señorial blend, which features an Ecuador Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic. However, the 7 x 38 Lancero has been tweaked a bit to create an optimal draw and maintain balance. It will retail for $9.
The Señorial Maduro Natural cigars will come in boxes of 21 and are expected to hit store shelves by August. The Señorial Lancero will ship this week and comes packaged in boxes of 48.
